Hire an employee with an EU nationality to work and reside in the Netherlands
A work and residence permit is not required
EU and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) nationals are visa-exempt and are legally entitled to enter and reside in each other’s countries. This means you do not have to apply for a work and residence permit for your employee.
However, being compliant is a real challenge
For companies with internationally operating employees, continuously keeping up with legislation and regulations in different countries whilst ensuring compliance, is a real challenge.
